The cycle will start from Ben's resting place - Christ's Church, Shamley Green, GU5 and will take in Godalming, Elstead, Farnham, Frimley,Camberley, Woking and Guildford on the first day.

The second day will see the friends head north from Woking to Chertsey, Staines, Weybridge, Thames Ditton and Surrey County Hall in Kingston before then heading south-east to Epsom, Banstead, coulsdon and Whytleafe.

On the third and final day the no-doubt weary cyclits will take on tha challenge fo the Surrey Hills starting in Caterham and then heading back across Surrey via Redhill, Reigate, Dorking, Leatherhead, Cobham, Ripley, Newland's Corner to Shamley Green in readiness for a celebratory drink!

 

Surrey is very hilly and some of the cycling extremely challenging. The original routes have been scrapped, re-written and tweaked to ensure that the cycle is challenging yet achievable, but only just! To challenge ourselves further we plan to set ourselves target times to reach each town so that we can meet our supporters. Being more average-Jo's than elite athletes we will of course be allowing ourselves the odd food, rest and toilet stop but 50miles a day across Surrey countryside isn't possible by sitting back in the saddle for a leisurely cycle!
